In 2018, the Executive leadership teams of CIH & H&G met with the common desire to “To create something special” in the industry. There was a desire by the team to establish a vision which would result in a meaningful and sustainable value to our customers, team members and vendors. We began with our teams collaborating to improve our internal processes. The results immediately proved that our teams created real value improvements to our businesses. So we thought to ourselves could this effort be taken to the next level by joining forces in a combination where we could apply this concept and maximize this value creation across a larger organization? The resounding answer was YES!

The vision was realized, and APTURA GROUP was formed.

The future continues to be exciting for door security and safety professionals. Security and safety remain top of mind within institutions and is a main focus for architectural design. As products grow more sophisticated and as life and fire safety codes change to meet the new challenges, our professionals are relied upon to design, provide and support more diverse solutions. Balancing the fire and life safety codes while meeting the requirements of owners and architects is a difficult enough challenge on its own. In addition, when combined with coordination of multiple trades, providers, and stakeholders the level of complexity increases. Adding to these challenges, project timelines have accelerated creating a dynamic construction environment with higher execution risks. What does this mean for the door security and safety professionals? Higher responsibility and expanded opportunity. To this end, APTURA GROUP was formed to take on this responsibility and maximize the opportunity.
